How to use this mod. Subscribe to the mod so that the server will have the necessary files and so clients will also have the necessary files for parts related to the client. Restart your server and ensure that the mod is downloaded.

In Game.ini put the following:

SpawnServerActorsOnMapLoad=/Game/Mordhau/Maps/WeaponRemovalMap/BP_ModificationActor.BP_ModificationActor_C

[ModificationActor]

disableRegen=1

This will disable regen for Skirmish mode only and not other modes. This should work on any map assuming the modded map is not otherwise forcing regen to be enabled.


Update 4/6/2020:

Applies to skirmish only.

disableHealingItems=1 now bans bandages and medkits similar to ranked duels.


Updated 4/10/2020:

disableMeleeThrow=1 removes the ability to throw 1h weapons, buckler, targe, and maul. Dedicated throwables and archery weapons are unaffected but can be removed with the Loadout Weapon Removal mod if need be.

Weapons picked up around the map such as rusty arming sword or other items will still be throwable due to the current way the mod works. This is not compatible with other mods that modify the equipment array in the singleton.


Updated 4/13/2020:

disableUnderhands=1 removes ability to perform underhand strikes and stabs. This uses a custom character blueprint so it is not compatible with other mods that use custom characters.

Updated 5/4/2020:

disableJumpKick=1 removes ability to perform jump kicks. This uses a custom character blueprint so it is not compatible with other mods that use custom characters.


Updated 6/14/2020:

Made adjustments to disable this mod's changes for Despacito's Skirmish Captains mode to not interfere with the mode.


More modifications will be added over time.

Seems that disableMeleeThrow=1 is corrupting VODs.

Does this mod work on Linux servers or only Windows servers? Is it possible to develop a Linux server mod?

The mod works on linux servers and the server I used to test on is a linux server. Linux vs windows wont matter much unless you have custom meshes that require specific type of collision which this mod does not.

A suggestion. Option that disables throwing key.

Is that meant so that there is no ranged at all including 1h weapons that can be thrown? And would you want bandages or medkits still able to be "fired / thrown" since they use that key too?

Already banned healing items from my Skirmish server. Whole fired / thrown key or Weapons throwing only, I'm fine with any of them. But adding weapons throwing only would be better since this mod has healing item ban.

Will this conflict with other mods that use the SpawnServerActorsOnMapLoad parameter?

It won't unless they're changing the regen for skirmish as well or modifying similar properties.
